About

Welcome to Village Voices

Village Voices Community Choir started in January 2010. It came from an idea that starting a local choir could be a great way to bring the local community together once a week in the newly refurbished village hall.

Here we are almost a decade later still enjoying singing together.  We have a massive core of singers who have been with us since the start but at the same time have always welcomed new members and still do!

We are a community choir with a commitment to have fun while we sing and perform in our local area.

We are led by Kerrie Duce-Jones (to read more about Kerrie: click here), who teaches, guides and encourages us to improve and enjoy music together. The very best therapy you can get!

There is no pressure to perform – you may just want to enjoy the practice night experience – however we do try to take part in concerts, both our own and those organised by others, 2 or 3 times a year, raising money for local charities as we go.

We sing a variety of music from Rutter to Lennon and McCartney, from Snow Patrol to Gershwin, and all in between.

We meet  for practices in Ston Easton Village Hall, Green St., Ston Easton. BA3 4DA (nearest postcode), every Monday evening from 7.30-9pm – starting with coffee at 7.15pm.

We are very relaxed about singing ability – no audition required, just a desire to sing and have fun!

Why not give us a try? Taster session on your first visit is free. After that our weekly fee is £5 per session attended. There is a small contribution to music costs.
