Some of you may have noticed that signs are starting to be erected at the southern end of the village as you head out of Ston Easton towards Emborough.

Following a long campaign by residents and the Parish Council, Somerset Council are finally extending the 30mph limit to where the 40mph limit currently starts and starting the 40mph limit 300 metres further to the south at the start of the straight.

Signage and new road markings should be completed by the end of the month although there are different contractors and there may be a time when the signage says one thing and the markings say another.
